Abstract:

This is a map service for the display and query of data collected between September 22 and September 29, 2009, covering the floor of the Flathead Valley above Flathead Lake, the area around Polson, and the shoreline areas of Flathead Lake, Whitefish Lake, and Swan Lake.

Data from the project include natural color and color-infrared orthorectified aerial photos whose horizontal resolution is 1 foot, a digital elevation models whose resolution is 6 feet, and topographic contour lines whose interval is 2 feet. The vertical datum of the data is NAVD88, Geoid 03.

The service is an ArcGIS Server Map service that may be loaded into GIS applications and used in web mapping applications.
